Expected availability and pickup

Availability is expected around May 6–8, 2027. Once the exact pickup date is confirmed, we will contact each customer with the pickup timeframe and location. This is a dedicated colony pickup arrangement. We will email you to confirm reservation and pickup details.

Why choose a nucleus colony?

Chad believes nucleus colonies give beekeepers a head start over package bees. Package bees need to build comb, collect nectar and pollen reserves, and complete a 21-day brood cycle before the first new bees emerge. Next to Nature sells nucleus colonies because we believe they establish stronger hives in less time.
